In 2022 we were playing football for the McLean Spartans and were really inspired by one of our coaches, Coach CJ, who has a real heart for service and dedicates much of his free time to giving back to the community.

In our first year working with Coach CJ we decided to make Christmas boxes for children in our area who might otherwise not have received any gifts during the Festive Season. We managed to make 75 boxes in our first year and they all went to Coach CJ’s foundation: Another Day on Earth.

Since then we have expanded our reach and support a number of local shelters. In 2023 we made 90 boxes and in 2024 we hit 127. But this is only really a drop in the ocean. According to Feeding America, there are over 18,000 children in Washington DC who face hunger. Our hope is that we can brighten at least one day for as many of these children as possible.
